1. Get all A’s and take the hardest schedule you can and the inverse of getting into the NCAA football championships-just kidding. But just actually being in SEC would help.
2. 20 AP classes (you can take lots of them online and in middle school too) so get cracking.
3. 1600 SAT and show off with a 36 ACT. It’s not an act that way.
4. Be the student body president and senior class president. A “double-double” animal style can’t hurt.
5. Be a recruited athlete and it’s easy to get in even with a 2.8 GPA. Lots of articles on that easy route and about an 85% chance if the coach has you on his or her elite list. That way if you row your boat, you can be one of the “crew” because beating Yale is worth the price of admission at Harvard.
6. Be a National speech and debate champion and you should be in. There is no “debate” here.
7. Or how about being the national chess champion which is also a likely check mate…mate.
8. A letter or call from the President of the US or Supreme Court Judge can help how you are judged. “Four years to life” as they like to say at Harvard.
9. Next have mom and dad donate the right way and it without a “Singer” sewing machine. Do it above board and get in from the front door. Why go around to the side door right? Your parents will want to donate directly to the school in large dollar denominations and usually on the street it’s said to be 40 million but in this day and age I’ll bet 30 million gets you for life. That is my two cents or sense.

13. but you won’t need 1–12 if you are a very good student and more importantly you are close family friends with the chancellor or the dean of admissions can’t hurt but the best of all is to be friends with the president of the board of Trustees or usually one of the largest donors on campus. That may not get you in the front door or side door but it can get you in the back door. Badump….
